Energy: Chesapeake profit jumps on $3 billion hedging gain

Chesapeake Energy Corp., the nation's biggest natural gas company,
posted a huge jump in third-quarter profit Thursday, most of it tied
to derivatives gains totaling nearly $3 billion.
